Check the fuses first, then have a look if any of the connector blocks under the seats have come apart.

I had a similair problem on my W140 S500 Coupe. Luckily only the pax seat. i did as suggested, fuses(both of them for the one seat) and checked all connectors.
Dropped into local indie and they diagnosed the ECU for the seat was shot. No problem till it was Germany only specially made as a one off etc...£280. Got it a week later and it was installed. Although the seat didn't motor forward when the back was tilted to allow someone into the rear. All other functions worked. Took it back in only to be told that the ECU had blown again... sounds a bit fishy so i said fine get one on warranty as its less than a week old, and then ship it to the guy who looks after my car whilst i am away and he can do it in slow time. I had wasted approx 1.5 days of my period at home getting it fixed/sitting at Indie waiting.
