Hi, can anyone help me in trying to work out how to dismantle a seat from a 1968 Mercedes Convertible. I have acquired most of the interior to re leather it all. The seats are pretty naff and rusty, I just can't see how to remove seat from back. There are no outward screws or anything similar, just a lot of rusty metal and some very sorry grey leather.
Thankyou

Hi Julie --Take it you are doing it yourself ? --we do have RR ( Crewe factory)trained leather trimmers up here ?--- regarding removing the seat --( bit you sit on ) should lift upwards -and the squab ( back ) is bolted to the body in the corners.
