Seats 1983 500 SL

Any advice on Seats for a 1983 500 SL. Current seats are half leather and not particulary supportive! Folding mechanism works but is VERY loose. Is there anyone in Norfolk who can refurbish seats?

Will The Complete Automoblist refurb the seat structure or just the covering?

Is it feasible to aquire replacment R107 seats?

They do lots of vintage car work where they only have the frame to start from, they can reform the seat to give more support. Is there anything wrong with the upholstery, or is ir only the frame, its quite easy to take the covers off.

Upholstery is frayed in middle of drivers seat but rest is probably OK.
Support from the frame is the big issue.

Why not slip the cover off, the chances are that the frame just needs some attention loke a little welding or bushing on some moving parts.
