Hi,

It would seem that petrol is leaking from my 380 SEC at the petrol cap when ever I drive. I have replaced the cap with a new one and still this persists.

I can't think why this is happening since the cap is sealing properly...

Any suggestions? Could a glogged petrol filter put too much pressure on the tank? (I doubt it.)

Have you checked that the fuel is not spilling from the rubber hose that connects the fuel tank to the filler?

This could be, but I don't think so since the fuel is spilling inside the compartment in which the petrol cap is.

In other words, the compartment under the fuell flap...
