Apologies if I am in the wrong forum but I am a new member and this is my first time on line.
I have been given a 1981 Pagoda roof 280 SL as a BIG 30 advance present. The only problem is that I have to get it restored (some bodywork, mechanical check over and interior refurbishment) and I have no idea where to start as far as finding a reliable guy to work on it. Money is limited so I cannot consider taking it to one of the major restoration companies. I live on the Hampshire/Sussex coast and would be grateful of any help and advice to point me in the right direction.
