Self Levelling Suspension Fault

Hi MilesM from deepest darkest Dorset/Wiltshire!

The rear end of my 1989 250d manual estate has risen dramatically and will not return to normal position.

Is this a fault with the self levelling suspension and if so what can I do?

Any advice on this matter would be greatly recieved!!!!!!

Hello, have you checked the oil level for the suspension

I see... I see... a pair of suspension spheres with your name on them. They're in the local MB dealer stores department

Hi there!
Thanks for the advice. I've been underneath and thankfully the problem is not as serious as I first feared.
The control unit lever had become unattached, so tied it up with a cable tie, problem sorted!
I am new to this forum and am very impressed, what a wealth of knowledge!
