I have been replacing the spheres on my 230te, (using AndyK's Instructions - cheers ) however, when trying to screw back in the new hydraulic pipes into the valve, they kept crosss threading, to cut a long story short, and to spare the expletives, i have removed the valve completely in order to re-tap the threads (after finding out the thread is M10 1.0 pitch fine series) or replace it completely. Now for my question, when removing there is a 2" lever that is connected to a ball and socket. this ball and socket has just separated, can i reuse this joint or should i replace it,

Many thanks

The're not that expensive so I would replace it. When ordering it I recommend that you also order a new u clamp as there is a high risk of it snapping as you try to undo it.
