Hello all,

I got the news from the German garage that the STAR diagnostic shows that "Sensor Fussraumdüse rechts" of my car (W212 E350 CDI 2011) is not working and it should be changed. Anyone knows more about it? e.g. what for a sensor is it, what is the function of it and aproximate cost.

Kind regards,

Robert

Looks like it's an ABS sensor. Googled easy...

Just had one of those replaced, cost about £130 GBP here in the UK :)

I get

Sensor footwell nozzle right

for ABS I would think

Geschwindigkeitssensor für Antiblockierbremse

Still I don't know which sensor is it? Definitely it is not an ABS sensor! Soon the car will go to the garage for the winter tires and I will ask there.

I've heard of some E class' where sensors / vents on the heater system play up,
mine gets 9 to try and help the climate control get data to feed info in to what its supposed to be doing

Thank you for the info. Do you know the place of this sensor in the car?

Have a look at part number 901 on the list it may be what you are looking for just guessed at your model but you could fill in the VIN number on the entry page to be sure and use the German array drop down on the right.
