Hi all

I am about to change my belt as a matter of precaution. The Haynes manual says you have to remove the fan blades - is this really true? Is it not possible to feed the belt over the fan blades?

I have a 1995 E300 diesel.

If the fan blades have to be removed where do I get the tool to hold it whilst I undo the bolt and how much do they cost?

best regards

paul

Thanks for the reply.

I have normal size hands, so if I run into problems will get one of the kids to do it for me!!!!!!
