Service a reminder

Hi all I have a E240 w reg
it has just been serviced but i now have the light saying service due 26 days ago i have now had it serviced but need to reset service reminder,can someone please tell me how i reset it.i was given instruction on how on E240 20002-2005 but doesnt make sense.
any help greatly appreciated

To reset the service indicator on the W210 E240.

Turn the electronic key to position 2 in the ignition lock and immediately press button 0 twice within one second.

Turn the electronic key to position 0 in the ignition lock.

Press and hold button 0. Turn the ignition key to position 2 in the ignition lock. Keep button 0 pressed.

Service display with current remaining distance or time appears.

After about 10 seconds, an acoustic signal will sound and the service display with the new starting distance or starting time appears for about 10 seconds.

Release button 0.

Job done.

Glad it's sorted. Those instructions should have worked as I copied them directly from the handbook of my W210 E280:confused:.
