Service history, do books still exist ?

Looking at a CLS55 with FMBSH. The vendor doesn't have a service book as such, but has print outs for various services.

Question is - for an 05 CLS, would there be an old fashioned service booklet and if it's lost, is the digital read out as good ?

2005 cars still had service booklets. Later cars are all done via dsb. Can you get the history verified by mb???

Yep - vendor is happy to get a fully stamped service book prior to sale

Well that's good. Many a service book do get lost. As long as the duplicate is stamped up/ the history is proven then no worries
