Hi , how do i actualy view my service history (DSB) for myself Please?

Ive recently purchased the car and on the Dash it says B3 Service due, but on Mercedes me it says Service A due and no other history is availible.
i was quoted £750 for a B service from Mercedes and £300 from a independant .

But i would like to see the information for myself and what needs to be done.

Think you need to speak to MB or an independent MB to get this info on your car.
Did it not come with history ?. they must have had it to quote for the next service..

a good indie will care for your car and not charge as much.. just mho though.

The Car was sold with full service history but i have not seen any evidence of it and wanted to check it for myself, bring back paper i say .
Is anyone on here able to look it up for me ? i saw reading through past posts it had been done before.

If not i will try find a good independant as at the moment i am getting different quotes for different services.

Suspect you need 30 qualifying posts before you can "Start a conversation" (PM). If you add your approximate location to your profile someone will be able to recommend a local indie who can pull the DSR for you - or visit your local MB main agent and ask them to do it!

First I would read and understand the Service Schedule booklet in the doc folder that came with the car, then, send your dealership an E Mail and request the following;

1. Copy of FSH
2. Copy of Service and Recall Schedule
3. Full breakdown of what’s included in their current B Service quote

You will get conflicting information between all the different sources of information because Service Schedules evolve and not all sources are up to speed, and MB have a habit of quoting for B services then discovering in the workshop some service items don’t actually need changing because the computer said so!

When you’re totally confused with all the information you’ve just discovered, go to your local Mercedes Independent garage who has Star/Xentry diagnostics and the capability to update the Digital Service Book and place your trust in him!
