Hi, new to the board so if this has been discussed many times, I'm sorry.

I have a C180k which does about 5000 miles a year. it was last serviced April 06. At the moment the instrument display says next service due in 5600 miles. Could I expect at this rate to get 2 years between service intervals if I carry on driving it nice? I rang the local dealer Robinsons of Norwich , who suggested the display could suddenly change and start counting down in days. They also said that about a year and a half is the maximum I could expect. As they didn't sound as though they really knew, I thought I'd ask owners who would know

You could well do. But you will find as it counts down 600 500 miles etc it does tend to jump down at a quicker rate. But yes carry on driving,( no plug for the film ),in the same way and services wont come round to quick.

many thanks. A nice change from my old c class that was every year until it got older. I then tried to distance the services as I was only doing between 6-9 thousand a year.

I thought that it was getting on for the two year mark before the days thing kicks in, it was on mine last year.
