Service Plan Discount Promotion

Hi. I'm new on here. Does anyone know when MB will have another service plan discount promotion? How do I get notified?

They are normally only once in about 2-3 years IIRC, they won’t inform you so you have to keep a watching brief, folks on here tend to share the info freely- welcome by the way

Offer was last on during the Summer of 2020 with a nice 20% discount, so I got the 2 service plan.

Things being as they are, a discount offer might come a bit sooner than the last 2 year interval, but I wouldn't be holding my breath. MB certainly don't advertise it widely - it's as though it's a well kept secret. Some dealers apparently denied there was such a thing after it had been announced last year!

If you join the club (not the forum) there is a discount card for services at your local dealer, 10% I unsderstand.
To further keep costs down, provide your own oil at the MB dealers alot cheaper than the 15 pound a L MB charge. On my W220 I always put 2 gallons of Mobil in the boot and tell them.

It's tricky one of the last price offering. I personally think they did it to try and generate some more cash during the car slump (lockdown) to keep books in order. Yes they offer 20% off however, it's still a very attractive profit margin...

The best deal is normally the 3 year 3 services one. Ideally you want two B services & a A service to get the best deal.
So if you are due an A service its worth paying for that one, to get the B A B sequence.

On this, you can probably negotiate the service price of the A with the dealer.

Yep- "discount" on any goods and services must be treated with circumspection. Deducting 20% or whatever from an inflated price is meaningless.

As noted in a reply to earlier message in Feb, these offers are usually every 2-3years.

if its not on the MB website under owners area it wont be here.
