Service Plan

I took out a service plan on 26/09/2020 to take advantage of the 20% discount. Paperwork to follow within 14 days. Nothing, so phoned today & was told they had lots of problems with their computer systems, so although they have taken the payment (surprise) nothing has been set up. I should now have an email tomorrow. So anyone waiting on their paperwork, I suggest you give them a ring.

Well, no email that they promised. Why can't these people be truthful. If she said it would be another week, I would not be happy but would accept it. Instead they tell you what you want to hear, then when it dosn't happen chances are they will not be at the end of the phone when you phone back & have to repeat the same story again. I did have a feeling this would happen as she only asked for the reg number, then asked what I had paid for. At the end of conversation, I said do you not want the order reference & she said "oh yes". Beginning to wonder if I will get the service plan. Will phone Monday first thing.

Same 2 weeks for me.
There may be delays as I think the uptake has been high for this. With my B A B service and the first B being a big one, it is not too bad value. The person at MB Exeter seemed very keen to sell their own variant but admitted that the MBUK one was good value

No need to stress...you have paid for the plan so there will be a record of it(presumably by credit card which is always advisable), and the paperwork will arrive eventually.
I bought mine end of July and immediately received a confirmation e-mail which I printed, then the paperwork arrived a week or 2 later.
The paperwork I received through the post was essentially no different to what I had received by e-mail.

I have done two took about 2 weeks to get the paperwork, but I did get a confirmation email after a couple of days.

MB cars are quick but the rest is pretty slow.

Why stress about the paperwork? If you have paid then you have the service plan!

Not stressing, just annoyed that they don't do what they promise, when they promise. Finally received the email today.
