Service reminder resetting

Does anyone know if and how to reset the service reminder on a X reg A-Class.....? Is there a way by doing some sequence on dash board..?

According to my Autodata disk;

[1]Switch ignition off
[2]Hold button A whilst switching ignition on
[3]After 10 seconds the new interval will appear on the display accompanied by a beep
[4]Release button A
[5]Switch ignition off

The A button according to my picture is a toggle switch on the left hand side below the speedo with a picture of a clock on the botom of the switch(usually the switch to change the display or reset the mileometer).
