Service/repair issues

2020 GLS400
I have a 2020 Mercedes GLS400 or rather I don't have it as its in the service centre where it has been for 4 + weeks awaiting parts, the feed back I get is the parts are on order and I will get a further update when they are in. I spoke to someone at the service centre who advised she has one client who has now been waiting 5 + months for a part "I'm not quite sure what help that was, apart from make the situation worse"!, The situation has been raised with Mercedes Help desk, who after + one week have no idea what the situation is, apart from "the parts are on order and they will update me when they come in". They have given a C200 saloon are a replacement, I have dogs and tow a horsebox trailer at weekends "what use is that" !

It’s unfortunate especially if the car isn’t drivable. We have an s class here for 3 months waiting for a sbr unit, latest update is March delivery. :(
