I've tried the procedures showing on youtube for earlier R231's (key to first position, don't start the engine, display not on odometer, hold call button and OK button) but with no joy, I don't get the reset menu. Maybe it's the timing of the buttons I'm getting wrong.

As the car was SORN'd for half of the year and I've only covered 1k miles since last years Svc B, plus I'm now out of factory warranty, I don't see the point in getting a service done but want to eliminate the reminder.

Does a proper job of resetting, plus if you are going forward without a dealer it means you will always have visibility of any issues, should they arise. Including hidden issues just waiting to get at you.

Thanks but very unlikely I'd get enough use from it.
I'd rather just reset via the steering wheel if I can work out how.
