So my cars at an age now where its still looks good, drives well and I still absolutely love it. BUT... after checking what the value of it is and the fact that ill probably never sell it I'm going to do all the maintenance on it myself as I'm past caring about my service been kept on a computer file.
Service is due and I'm going to do it myself. Where's the best place to get service parts, is there a specific place that has all I need at great prices or is it simply and ECP job.

I believe Grangemouth do service kits as do Newcastle MB on E-Bay (https://www.ebay.co.uk/usr/mercedesbenzofnewcastle?_trksid=p2047675.m3561.l2559)

Oil

229.52 is the new spec

For the Pollen filter use a MANN Frecious (ECP), they are the best

Get genuine buddy. Your dealers and ask for discount. Don't be shy.
Tell them its due a service, the mileage, the vin and tell them to give you whats needed.

Look at the online service schedule to compare.

Me -2019 GLC 350 coupe AMG line. Mrs- 1.2 vauxhall Corsa 2021 ,orange with a black roof. .
I find out what I need and either buy from eBay or partsinmotion .

My last shopping spree I acquired both air filters , genuine mb for £33 instead of £70 and fuel filter ( Mann ) for £30 instead of £90.

Thanks all, looking at the service requirements the fuel filter was changed around 13000 miles ago so that doesn't need done. same as the pollen and air filters. really I guess its just the oil and oil filter? I do probably 2k mile a year at most now. the full filter was changed around 2 years ago.

servicing a car is more than oil and filter. Look at the schedule (link provided) other things wear and are time/mileage dependant.

even things like replacing batteries in key fob.....you may think its daft but last thing you want is a dead remote

Already checked via MB, apparently fuel filters every 30,000 miles plus and very similar for the air filers, Any work that I cannot undertake she will be going into the garage if I cannot help it.

I’d take the air filters out and have a look, if they’re cheap enough I’d change them. It’s what I do on the smart and the focus I look after

Check against Autodoc prices as well (use their app it’s cheaper still ) . Takes about 8 days to deliver .
But as above the MB oil is unbeatable normally without serious shopping around like @Gazwould :).
Filters I normally go for Mann, Bosch (although I’ve just used Valeo and Hengst that were in a sale .
I also buy when there are sale and leave them in the garage for the next service .
I have used MB Grangemouth, Newcastle , ECP,Autodoc, and eBay from the big sellers

if you plan on doing the car yourself for the coming years. then the MB branded oil in the 20L cube lasts a long time.
Consider investing a LIDL oil extractor, a nice clean way of removing old oil without getting under the car. Threads on that seperately.

Good you got Mann filters. Any decent merc indy will use either Mann or MB. Drive Plus - never heard of them, but moot as you are sorted on the filters.
