Servicing in London

It's time for my 144,000 mile service - a B service, I think. Can anyone recommend a London garage?

I'm always very wary of going to a new garage. I used the same place for my old Rover for years but you know what it's like with a Merc. I've got a couple of odd problems as well - blower on hot most of the time, even though it's set to cold, sticky instrument needles, flashing lights behind blower controls. Will these all be picked up in a service?

I'm such a Merc novice, I'm almost embarrassed to ask about this.
I'm skint, too, so money is an object!

Any advice gratefully received.

Ta!

I live in Rotherhithe SE16 and work in White City, W12, so anywhere either of these would be good.

George Fraser's in West London, W8 I believe. He's well-known & very good. Automerc in Hornsey is very good but a bit off the beaten track for you

Brilliant. Thanks, Bolide. I'll get on the blower immediately.
