Servicing Northamptonshire

Anyone know of a good independant Mercedes garage in the Northamptonshire area.

I hear bad things about Mercedes dealerships.

There is also Parkham Garage in Wellingborough 01933 442216 who have looked after my S for the last 3 years. In fact they are servicing my car in a couple of days. Highly recommended.

H A LOCK in Rushden, looks very untidy but he has an excellent reputation, maintains most if not all the long distance private hire MB's in the area even those still under MB warranty. If yours is a diesel it could not be in better hands.

Parkham are also very good, sorted out my A/C before the 'summer':roll: and will be entrusted with my servicing requirements here on in.

Appreciate this is an old post, but I wanted to let you know I used HA Lock, Albert Lock, Mercedes specialist in Rushden last month. He was excellent. Although his premises may look tatty, he has a new workshop on Norris Way, that he is slowly moving across to. He sorted out my auto gearbox problems, and got my MOT. He was friendly and helpful, let me know costs up front and my bill was just as expected. He did not push for any work to be done. He has access to all the official diagnostics equipment and I think is the only fully approved Mercedes Repairer outside the franchise network. Anyway well worth a trip and I am back for my Service B next Month.

H A LOCK

It may look like untidy from the outside but the standard of work carried was excellent. I have used this garage twice so far in preference to Mercedes main agents who generally know little of the older models. I will continue to use them. Just booked car in and left it for them to service and fix anything that needs doing. When a fault was found, they phoned, informed me of the fault and approx cost then fixed it - brilliant!!
I find them realistically priced, very knowledgeable and helpful.
