Hello to everyone,

I'm completely new to Mercedes and have thankfully discovered this forum and after some searching have worked out how to post something.

My question is: does anyone know a good independent garage / oily person in the Winchester, Hants, UK area? I've just got '98 reg C43 estate (thankfully with recent brakes and discs).

Never used a smilie before... and I'm not going to start now.

I'm a real girlie when it comes to cars - mines red. I've got a lovely mechanic who picks it up, services it & brings it back. BUT...the Mass Air Flow (the what???) needs fixing & my lovely man cant do it.
The MB garage's quote made me feel ill!

Do any of you great people know an indie that can help in the West Midlands.

Bursledon Motors are a MB Specialist garage. Garage provides excellent service through ex-main dealer mechanics. Only minus is that they have recently re-located from Hedge End to a rather remote garage in Durley, towards the back of Hedge End.
