Hi & Welcome,
'A' service is a basic oil and filter change. It depends on how old you car is as to how many servicing options the ASSYST system gives. However most are just 'A' or 'B'. As above 'A' is the basic one and around £150+ 'B' is £250+. However they are the minimum prices you will pay at a dealer. If you find a good Independant Mercedes speciallist you will pay a lot less for servicing. I would not recommend a normal garage though as experience really counts on MB's.
Have a look at the attached for some more servicing info http://forums.mercedesclub.org.uk/showthread.php?t=17212&highlight=service
