hi,
New to this, so here goes.
I'm about to hand back a 3 year old E320. I've really enjoyed it.
So, since they're coming out so cheaply, should I buy a CL???? (not the brand new style)
I've done a little research, but i'm still at an early stage.
I want to go for the post 2003 model.
Can anyone give me an idea of the true running costs of them all? I know it won't be cheap, but I don't drive like a hooligan, and don't do many miles (10-12K p/a)
also - is there a difference between the 600 and the 600 bi-turbo??? are they the same engine, but with different badges?
What are the major drawbacks? Known faults to look for? Is the "bi-turbo" too technical for it's own good?
What are the general service intervals/costs.
All information gratefully received.
Thanks
Steve

Hi Steve and welcome,,check for leaking struts, and I would settle for the 500, much easier to maintain

I wondered during mad moments - there was one on Piston Heads converted to run on LPG - it looked good seemed to have all the service records - and a guarantee on the LPG fitment.

To run anything with SBC you must have deep pockets.

:!::!:You do not need deep pockets with these cars as the shallow ones never get a chance to fill up;)
