Hi everybody, I am going to start my first season of towing with a mercedes ML , although I have towed before here and abroad, is there anyone who could advise me about wether or not I need to fit a kenlow fan my ML 320 is petrol auto, the caravan weighs 1650kgs unladen, so would at a rough guess go around 2000kgs laden if that helps.

Ilook forward to hearing any comments (sensible ones)

Regards

Dave

I'd change the gearbox oil, make sure the noseweight is within spec and then just crack on. If the car needed an additional fan it would have one

As Bolide above, should be no problems on a ML

Kenlowe fans

Hi niterider

I fitted a Kelowe fan to a vehicle, not an MB, and it worked really well and it was still working when I sold the car. However, I fitted it as a replacement to a belt-driven fan and not as a complement to the existing fan. There wasn't the room for both.
