The waftiness of the SL was interrupted today when some debris broke the stone guard at the front and it dropped and hit the road. Autoclass, put it on a ramp, and put in place a temporary fix (cable ties solve everything) all with no appointment or fee - just a promise to replace it when next it comes in for a service.

A replacement part is about £40 from MB, from experience with my CL.
