Your right, it is, H&R springs lowered 30mm
:)

Oh nice 30mm seems quite a significant drop I didn’t think it would be that much, looks like any more than that and the wheels would rub ? Also did you keep the stock shocks ?

Yep, stock shocks, with
19" alloys and 5mm spacers, they've never
rubbed, ever. :)

Multiple threads on the same subject by the same person are either merged or removed as it causes confusion for members.

If more replies are sought then posting again on the thread is the best way of bringing it back to the top.

It’s a nightmare getting the spring rating right with these cars unless you go with the MB colour coded system so my advice would be to leave well alone unless you have an Avantgarde and want to change to a Sport set-up in which case you can purchase the parts over the counter from MB or from a breaker but even then you need to fit the the uprated anti-roll bar and brakes

The lack of response suggests that most 212 owners on here are happy with standard set-up.

What do you think about the comment above this one by malcolm210? Did you have trouble when lowering yours ?

Nope, H&R ask for your chassis number to make sure you get the correct Springs, simple's. :)

Yeah I mean we just have to make sure the springs we buy are going to fit right, that’s all.. ?

In a Nutshell yes, when used with the original wheels, if you start changing the wheels, for bigger, wider, different offset for example it then becomes a bit harder.
