Side steps on ml 320

Just quick question can you remove the metal part off the side steps there showing some signs off age tried metal restore but no joy thanks in advance

Are these OEM? If so you can remove the side steps but I think you will need to buy a set of sills as the originals are removed to fit the side steps.

So you have to take the whole side step off thought you could just clip them out as they look like you could but didn’t want to attack it lol thanks for the reply bud
