I came across some online catalogs on the siemens website. The interesting bit is that it gives components by car and also car by component, so you can see what else shares bits with your car, e.g. The 124 heater fan is also in a Dihatsu Charade ! - may be useful when sourcing bits, though as Merc switches between suppliers, you need to be careful. The catalogues cover fans, actuators and sensors etc and give part numbers so you may be able to shop wider than the dealer.
