Siemens phone muting on outgoing calls

Hmm, this my be a really dumb thing but.....

I've got a siemens phone (sp65) with specific cradle. This worked fine until this evening when I phoned out and the person on other end couldn't here me.

Got them to phone me and that was fine.
Phoned them out of cradle and that was fine too !

Is there some car set-up thing I'm missing here - I don't believe that I've changed anything on either phone or car and this worked fine two days ago.

sounds like a dicky conection at the cradle. The mic will probably use a couple of pins so if they are mucky it will be temperamental.

I have the same issue on my SL 230 this started off the same as yours,,I am hoping it is the phone module or the fiber optic lead somewhere, but no time to pull the car apart for now

Fixed it

Got a brush into all the connections and now it seems to work fine.

Although - not a good idea to brush the connections on the UHI when there's power ;-)

You are lucky, it takes 2 hours nearly to get to mine
