SIGLA Is it a genuine MB screen?

Following on from yesterday's post re RAC autoglass, the company have confirmed the faulty rear screen is a genuine MB part. I cannot find reference to MB on the rear screen only Sigla. Is SIGLA a genuine MB screen?

The rear screen could well be made by the company that supply MB with their rear screens , If it were MB it would have the pointed star logo.. Oh and just another thing.. a couple of years ago we had to replace all the glass on an 03 Eclass, the glass was priced with MB and they were miles cheaper than the local autoglass guys. so we purchased the original glass and paid the glass guys to remove and refit ..Now your problem it dont matter if the guys from MB came over and personally made the glass for your car ... it is faulty whoever supplied and fitted it is to blame for the problem. have a word with your local trading standards officer. A heated rear screen that does not fully demist is not fit for purpose, and therfore must be replaced.. lets hope u dont have a moggy that occupies your rear parcel shelf..

No pointed star as far as I can see, though when I look up at night I can see one in the east. If the situation isn't resolved soon I may well approach the wise men.
