T212 facelift, 2013. A few toys including pan roof, 19" rims, Harmon Kardon, nappa, privacy glass.
The Mercedes logo'd sill cover (the bit that is under the inside of the door when closed) "creaks" - o/s/f.

If I push down on it it has slight movement and creaks and with the door shut and going over bumps and speed humps it sounds horrible. The creak is the plastic flexing/catching (?)

Questions:

1. How is it fixed in ?
2. Is there anything underneath it, i.e can I remove it and permanently fix with a decent glue - if so how do I remove ?
3. Is there a better way to fix it ?
4. Why would it "creak" anyway ?

As usual, any and all assistance is appreciated.

Thx

Adam

Where there are no visible screws, the things are just prised up an out.

Many thx, much appreciated as always. Was a bit frightened to force so thought wise to ask first. Have since prised away from the three metal retaining clips to see that the middle section that slots into one of the clips had split and gave play of 4-5 mm. Glued repaired and gently clipped back together, now perfect.

Thx again.
