Blimey, pity there's nothing there for average Joe Boggs to buy

The SLS doesn't sound bad money, Romans International have a SLS Final Edition for £300k

Although they do have a 2011 SLS Roadster for £115k

Don't forget there's buyers commission of 12 1/2% +VAT on hammer price + commission, so add 15% to the hammer price to get what the buyer pays. Also SA take a price off the seller as well - the Speed Yellow 968CS was being sold by an aquaintance of mine, but he did not say what he had to pay SA to sell that car (or it's predecessor a few months ago, also a Speed Yellow 968CS - and he's not a motor trader, just an OCD enthusiast!).

The owner of the SL65 must have been disappointed - it has been for sale for ages and was originally priced at £75K ish. Even £55k I thought over the top, but someone clearly wanted it, bearing in mind premium on top. Price and value, as always, in the eye of the beholder. Some equally low mileage and great SL65's have not achieved much over £40k.
