So, just been round the testers and failed on the tires.. thank god as I was waiting for a reason to eliminate the cheap Landsails.
Anway, they are 225/50/17 all around .. but when I type the reg into Black Circles they are prompting me to select 245/45/17 all around (for 17" wheels).
Where does this leave me? I assume the narrower tyres were stretched on, which could be part the reason for the inner exposure (or tracking/balancing).
Can I comfortable go ahead and look for 245s or do I need to check the wheel sizes, on the off chance that the wheels aren't what came from the factory?

Going to fit new pads+discs all around too.. but delighted it didn't fail on something like emissions which was cause for concern due to the oil it has been burning.
