SL 350 mirror indicator not working

Is it possible to replace the LED on the wing mirror on a 2008 SL or do you need to replace the whole mirror including the case?

Had mine replaced 8 years ago, from what i remember Slk are the same Part, or where on my R230.

Its possible, done it a few times. You remove the glass then the outer mirror casing, the light is screwed to the casing
