Does anyone know where I can get a second-hand or re-conditioned roof module (electronic control unit that lives under the back seats) for a 1994 SL 500. Have sent mine back to the manufacturer via an auto electrical specialist - they say they cannot fix it so will need to get a new one from MB (£710 - ouch!!).

Thanks,
Bruiser

Thanks for that - have just given them a call - unfortunately they only re-condition customer's units. I'm assuming that if the manufacturer is saying it's beyond repair then these guys probably will too!

Any ideas where I might find a scrap 129? Do people ever send SLs to the scrap yard??? I guess there must be some that are involved in write-offs??

Bruiser.
