SL 500 rattle

Hi I seem to have a rattling noise coming from the back of the passenger side quite high up I thought it was coming from the headrest but no i just cant locate it [its like that VW advert with earrings] very annoying SL500 2005reg any ideas thanks

You need two modified bolts fitted to the roof joints, though a 2005 may or may not have them.

This sounds like another refinement that my R129 lacks? Was it standard on the 230, or an extra?

This only applies to the 230 go over bumps and one gets this loud knock noise,,its quite easy to do and I can give the paper on doing this

Hi found the rattle small flap covering hinge for roof/boot a bit stiff sprayed a bit of wd 40 on the spring job done THANKS
