SL / R129 Handbooks -What's a full set?

I have a set of owner handbooks for my 2000 SL320.

• The SL interior booklet,
• exterior booklet,
• service booklet,
• dealer locations and map,
• APS 30 User manual.

In the owner manuals there are references to a technical manual. Is there another basic technical specification book?

Is there supposed to a leather folder for them?

Hi Richard, there is a holder for all of the books, or should be, I only sold my car 7 months ago, I had a feeling the there was a book "driving" also, one of the books contained the specs.

Someone else will come and confirm

Thanks for that, from memory, yes there is a Driving book; will look at it for some technical detail when I get back to the garage next week...
But I am confused, you say you sold your car, are you not the owner of an SL500 with nice valve caps?

I have the 230 SL500 now, just having some fun before I snuff it :roll: :roll:
