SL280 in Nottingham

Have just bought my first SL280, 1984 model. Being new to this model can anyone advise who are near Nottingham where to take these types of car for a service/repairs. I remember taking a Mercedes which was only 7 years old to Mercedes Benz in Nottingham and they were not interested. Any advice great fully received. The normal garage I use are not great on older cars.

Hello Sir. MB Salisbury haved looked after my 15 year old SL for the last 7 years no problem. They are glad of the business, and even give cheaper rates for older cars. So I am surprised at the attitude of MB Nottingham. We have a number of good Indies in the south, and I do use them on occasion, but I am sorry I know nothing about Notts.

I’ve used MB Centre over near the racecourse for years, can’t recommend them enough, know their stuff and really nice chaps too.
