I have just purchased an SL2800 and has developed an issue with the central locking. Before I purchase a new vacuum unit, I thought I should seek some advice from those who may have experienced a similar issue.
The original Hella unit was replaced 16 months ago apparently with a reconditioned unit, so the issue has been ongoing.
The car locks from the remote key. Doors, interior lockers boot and fuel flap.
The car will not open remotely. Except that the boot will open with the small boot button on the key fob
The drivers door only will open with the key manually.
fuel flap can be opened by the emergency button in the boot. The lockers are locked.
Advice or comments would be moist appreciated
