SL320 Alloys

Hi
would 19" Mercedes alloys with offsets of ET42 & ET 44 fit a 1995 SL320?
Does the higher ET number mean the wheels stand out further or less?

Offset is relative to width so you'd need to know the width & offset of the old & new wheels to know whether they'd fit

the standard 8 hole alloys are 8j 16 ET34, the ones i have seen are 8.5J 19 ET42 / ET 44.

This means that they would stick out 8mm and 10 mm respectively
