SL350 PSE Central Locking Pump

Hi, I have posted before but think I babbled on way too much about the problem! This time I’ll keep it short.
I have a problem with the PSE pump, if I purchase a refurbished PSE pump does anyone know whether it will need programming to the car? (If the problem lies with the motor only I’m assuming it will not need programming?)

It might need coding for lumbar support, to get that to work or it might be already coded from the previous car.

Thank you so much for that reply. I’m taking the car tomorrow to my friends garage and taking the whole PSE pump unit out. So I will let you know our progress.
