Sl500- 2002- R230- can’t open roof says close boot separator

Hi all,

I haven’t put the roof down for a few months and now it is saying close boot separator,

I have taken the right side apart and cleaned all contacts etc..As per previous posts I have read but no joy.. can anyone recommend anything else to try??

Hello and welcome

The micro-switch on my SLK is in the left hand (UK Passenger side). I thought the SL’s were the same.

SL’s is definitely on the drivers side.. 100%

You probably need to get it on Star to check the live data about which switches are operated.
