Hello all,
My COMAND in my 2002 R230 SL500 has been showing my position incorrectly while driving. This has only happened since my battery control unit was changed a few months ago.
Basically the cursor showing where I am is always about a centimetre or so (on the screen) behind where I actually am and it seems "behind" when I turn into a road.
I am picking up satellites ok (normally show 7) and I have recalibrated and reinput the tyre size (front) as well as specifying a location. It still shows me as in the wrong place
I thought that it might be that the speedpulse has become disconnected but I would have thought that this would mean that stuff like the TV would keep working when I move - this isn't the case and it does indeed switch off.
Any suggestions? Taking it back to the dealer that did the work is a faint option but it's a long way away and if it's going to cost money then it isn't going to happen (I've been out of work for 3 months and stuff like this is not a priority use for my savings).
Cheers
