SL500 R231 Centre console rear compartment

The rearmost centre console on my SL has a sliding lid, ever since ive had the vehicle its had a bit of blue tac holding down the top trim , foolishly i took a further
look and the whole unit has been removed at some stage, and by the look of it with a hand grenade, all the plastic runners and clips are broken.
Does anyone have a pdf on how to correctly remove and refit this trim part. I also want to remove the spring loaded lids too which are just forward of said box as one of the return springs has not lifting the arm anymore

Can anyone help on this? I have exactly the same problem in my SL400. The spring loaded lid on the drivers side no longer 'springs' and I would like to know if there is a fix without replacing the whole thing. I had the same problem with an SLK R171 some years ago, fortunately under warranty, and the fix was complete replacement.
