Do any of you people know of sources in the UK for wooden steering wheels for a 1990 SL500 without airbags?

All advice appreciated

Here's a German source...

http://www.eris-car.com/

Also this site has Nardi wheels (v. nice) for the R107 which should fit OK on a R129...

http://sls.sparebase.de/bin/dbframes.phtml?mid=IN07 - scroll the picture in the top right-hand frame downwards and click on the picture with a steering wheel in it. Bear in mind you will need a boss (Nabe in German). I gather they speak good English, so I suggest phoning rather than ordering on Web if you don't speak German.

These folk have all sorts of wooden stuff, but don't know about wheels...

Fianlly, there were a couple of wooden wheels on ebay only last week - one in UK, one in Germany. UK one was a Nardi, went for £175-ish, German one was Momo, I think, went for about £110. I bought a RAID (German make) one for my R107 on German ebay for about £60 last year.
