Hi folks, Ive recently bought a 1995 SL500 . Its a car ive wanted for a long time so its great to finally own one!

Its going to be my weekend/fun car so wont be doing huge mileage in it- im limited to 5000 miles with the classic insurance, anyway!

The cars in fantastic condition for the year but iam going to need new tyres soon! Its currently got Mitchelin Pilots all round. Should i stay with these or can anyone recommend another brand/spec that work well on the SL? I want a tyre that gives good traction in both dry and wet and wears well.

My car is fitted with the original 16in alloys so tyre size is 225/55zr16

Thanks. Matt.
