I have to agree Conor, it's a very handsome beast. I'm just not sure the extra complications are worth the potential trouble. If I had bottomless funds I'd make the leap, but not in this lifetime I think.

Hi can anyone tell me if these came on a sl500 2002 or are they aftermarket, last owner says they are Ronal alloy wheels !!

I really like them, I'd be making an offer if I was in the market for new wheels. But I've recently splashed out on new Contis all round. The handling is just excellent, so why change them?

What potentials complications? Are you referring to the fact its a V12 and the IC packs?

Yep torque on gearboxes can give slippage over time. Turbos aren't known to fail but it's another complexity.

Now I think about it, we've always talked about cars being thirsty. But a car with 'an appetite for gearboxes' is worthy of the great Jeremy Clarkson. I love it.
