SL500 wiring

Hi,

Wonder if somebody may be able to help me.

I have a 1991 SL500 AMG and am having problems trying to understand the wiring mechanism for the roof. I am also having some intermittent electric problems that I think are due to corrosion of some of the wiring. Would anyone have a wiring diagram for this model ?

Electric Roof has 2 buttons

The red button in the middle wouldnt originally light up .

We have taken the hard top of manually
The red button has come on.

When we press the switch for the roof. whether we press up or down, it appears to just want to got go down.

we have noted that on the pump there is a solenoid. At the moment, no live feed appears to be going to the solenoid.
