SL55 - mirror question?

My 2004 SL55 AMG has got a rubber trim around the glass on the driver's door mirror, but not on the passenger side.

Is it missing or doesn't the passenger mirror have one?

That is normal, and the drivers mirror is a dimming one, the rubber is part of the sealing, as it contains liquid. The passenger one is not the same
